The New Zealand Road Race Championships were scheduled to be held on the 4th of September in Christchurch. These races were rescheduled following a severe earthquake which struck the region in the early hours of race day. The Sir Barry Curtis 10km Classic is one of New Zealand's premier road races and will now double as the Championships.
