How to upload a video!
Note: You must be logged in to upload video content. If you do not yet have an account, please register to use this feature.
Once on the videos page, find and select the 'Upload videos' button to begin
You will be presented with a page containing a couple of options for uploading.
You can either upload video directly from your computer (recommended) OR you can embed video found on other websites such as Youtube.
The Java uploader applet will then load.
This can sometimes take a few moments to load. If you encounter any errors, update your Java install. Once the applet has loaded, browse your computer for the file you want to upload. Uploading times are dependant on your computer speed, the size of the file and quality of your connection.
When your file has finished uploading, you will be presented with command box.
ALWAYS click yes. This is where you edit the video details. It's important and helps keep the videos tidy.
Then locate your recently uploaded video, and proceed to edited the details by clicking on the small pencil icon to the right.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
They will guide you through the edit & update process for your video.
Do you know the people in your video? Search the speaker box and add them!
Was this from an event? Search the events box and associate it to the event!
Done? Make sure you save!
Your video will will now appear under the videos section!
If it doesn't show right away, allow a few minutes for processing.
