@David Kennedy, again I tell you there is not interest in it for me. True English is not my mothertongue and no I don't live in Cyprus. I live in the States but that's not my birthcountry as well. I again like your fairytale, and probably the site isn't that updated and the people in SA are not willing to help you, or as I said it might be just a fairytale after all. Google anyways DO find a Dr Annelise Bunce (https://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&source=hp&q=annelise+bunce+johannesburg&pbx=1&oq=annelise+bunce+johannesburg&aq=f&aqi=p-p1&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=747l5034l0l5158l27l22l0l0l0l0l291l3989l0.15.6l21l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=8174c6c347ede012&biw=1366&bih=588) now my 4th result gives http://www.medpages.co.za/sf/index.php?page=person&personcode=121577. The email address matches the one on "SPAMS" :-) website. O wait, there is a phone number there as well...: 0110234813. Please tell me what "the person that does not exist" has to say. :-)

@tpain, I don't know what the NHS is but probably some kind of goverment. And I truly believe they do. But ir theraphy is known to be good. Back in the days we had a red lamp my mother used to shine on me after football injury. Nowadays you have all this ir sauna's. So why not have this effect by refelecting your own wast ir with this "magic"?
PS _ @David Kennedy, can you believe it? an Ad-free post.... cost me a million but hey... did it for you!

"If it all would have been a scam 2 years ago... why the F* is RBR still using them? "

I'd say for similar reasons homeopathy is funded by the NHS in the UK.

...and Rees Buck you really didn't say "vested interest" to a guy who sells vests did you?...

Hey guys I've just invented a new game. It's called the 'lets try to telephone Dr Annelise Bunce in Johannesburg' game. It's free to play, and the rules are simple. All you do is try to phone Dr Annelise Bunce in Johannesburg on the number supplied by Fir Tex. When that doesn't work, you can just try all the permutations of the number that you and New Zealand Telecom can think of. Let me tell you Telecom tires very quickly of playing this game...They keep insisting that there is no one called Dr Annelise Bunce on the Johannesburg exchange. I told them they were wrong, and that Fir Tex, a company run out of an apartment in Cyprus, (a country that coincidently also plays host to the Cosa Nostra) wouldn't possibly lie to me and that I had it on the best authority from no other than Jason Dupres, (a Cyprus national) who's first language is demonstrably not English, that she was an expert in the field of 'Live Blood Analysis".
They said "have you heard this noise before?" and then there was a resounding ' CLICK'and the phone went dead.
Anyway, like I said the game is free to play, and don't be disheartened if Telecom hang up on you. You and your friends can still have hours of fun, trying to direct dial Dr annelise Bunce in Johannesburg. Here's the number supplied by Fir Tex so that you can play too. 082 699 2662. You could also play let's try and find Dr Annelise Bunce on Google maps as well. The address is 39 End road 2194 Linden Extension Johannesburg.
Like Mr Biltong...I want to know if Fir Tex comes with a sesame seed bun and a side order of fries, so that if I get hungry while searching for Dr annelise Bunce, I can eat the jacket.

As said before, I don't own a vest, nor have any interest in the company or whatsoever.

I'm a over-all F1 fan and a few months ago on my holiday in Greece I followed some of the stuff on TV. There has been a fraud case with one of their distributors anyways long story, not really relevant I suppose.
Yes I've read the article @ CWGK blogspot. Another one who doesnt own a vest nor experienced himself, but by reading their (FIR-TEX's) website they take out all that could be misinterpreted or indeed is written wrong on their site (such things happen, I suppose their not a multi-million dollar company having all such things nicecly written by professionals) Now for the sake the man @ CWGK (read his last post) is crawling back bit, I say a bit. But it's more than nothing. Also at that time their was not such detailed testing doents (ESP) available. Just send him some links, but of course his site will only post posts with approval of the webmaster.
Now as for the power-balance, you are not informed at all :-) Why on earth would FIR-TEX sue power-balance accusing them of talking rubbish etc. if they are themselves. They would be digging their own grave... Only if you know for sure your product works you can afford such actions in the startup-fase of your company. Have you read this doent? https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=126831177360831 FIR-TEX claims by the way not to sponsor nor pay athletes to user their products. This is stated in every contract they make (in difference to what power-balance was doing)
I'm not spamming, at least thats not what I intend to do. Just want to get the conversation started and questioning myself WHY ON EARTH people are so short in thinking.
Recently Sandisk came with a SD-card of 128GB(!!!) Now if you would have told me that 15-20y ago I would probably reacted the same way as you guys do on FIR-TEX. (just to give an example of WHY i'm posting).
Yes I posted on several sites were they said things about FIR-TEX because I wanted to talk about it. That's what they are for right? Of course I could have opened topics myself, but by replying on existing topics the users that responded get a message again. And so there is likely a bigger chance to get a response sooner. At least that's my theory. And I don't accept anything right away... that's why I don't own an Iphone (whooopps... dont fight me on that one :-))
Actually I'm quite scared now of typing such a long story only to defend myself. But if thats what it takes, thats what is takes.
So without further "spamming" and without you just saying I'm crazy and so is FIR-TEX; how can we actually put all pro's and con's next to eachother and find out what it is and how it works?
If it all would have been a scam 2 years ago... why the F* is RBR still using them? http://www.redbullracing.com/cs/Satellite/en_INT/Red-Bull-Racing-Partners/001242811070589

Doh! Thanks tpain, I am going to use Chrome which has built-in browser and which tells me your name is spelled wrong and "doh" doesn't exist, but doesn't offer any suggestions. It is limited but hey, it is still better than nuttin. It doesn't have "nuttin" in its dictionary either. Or "spelt" - had to use "spelled". Using an Aussie dictionary, so that explains it. Uses red squigly lines too. Damn "squigly" is also wrong. Man, this could go on forever. That's it - click comment! Doh!

And now it's Biltong and Buck as the consumer rights advocates. NZRun=NZRun-Target

tpain 4 months ago

Biltong - the answer is to use a browser that has spell check.

Jason, I hope your recent streak of informative action isn't lost on those in the F1 forum who posted a mere 2 years ago on the topic. In all seriousness, you should employ some insight and question the methodogy of a study (and it's funding...) before accepting claimed results and implications. It's almost as if you're selling the product!

Biltong 4 months ago

While we are doing all this "testing" (research) of this seductive product I thought I would also test the editing function of this forum, because my cut and paste from my editing software programme is producing really funny Skillo like characters where things like brackets and apostrophes are supposed to be. I may have to edit directly in the comment box which has no spelling or grammar check function. I am a perfectionist by nature and a non-perfectionist by intent.

Jason, unless you have a vested interest in the success of this suspect range of products you may want to do a little more research, or just read this site: http://cwgk.blogspot.com/2011/05/fir-tex-bull-in-vest-form.html

Oh yeah, and the Panathinaikos Club who are one of the Innovation Partners are also sponsored by Power Balance - and we know what happened to their business in Aussie when the regulatory body got on to them: http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2011/11/medium_8d77b50a0ac466dae626317681d7bc55.png
Also, good to see you're posting your spam everywhere: http://www.formula1blog.com/2010/05/06/red-bull-goes-all-new-agey-in-the-pits/

I don't even own such a product, but just by seeing the official doents of other company I trust for sure I see no reason to not trust their "magic"; spoken in your terms.

Do you really think the ones who did test it tested it to proof them wrong? Like you all do? (un)Fortunately the results speak for themselves...
But I'm sure all of you read the doents. All FAIL! what you guys post comes from their own website, what about the info described by all the "certified" company's / persons (are they a FAIL! as well?)
I like your fairytales by the way :-)

Biltong 4 months ago

David, another great “inciteful” article by you. Thank you. I must admit I was one of the doubters and when I confirmed with Lydiard yesterday that he did indeed speak to a somewhat strange looking man about a similar product about a week ago, I am now a convert. I also see that sand shoes were in vogue as running shoes in the 60s, so I am not surprised they were then already experimenting with cutting-edge technology although the term cutting-edge had not yet been invented. In fact, leading-edge had not even been invented. I don't know what edge we were into then, probably groovy-edge may have been the term – just for the record. I would not mind paying $600 for this product if it were edible – if it didn't work we could then feast on it. I can see this product as being very seductive once used. Many of the most innovative methods of seduction have indeed originated in Nigeria. Keep up the good work – this type of quality research is what our sport really needs.

David Kennedy 4 months ago

God, you people are cynics. Of course this product works. I was talking to Lydiard no more than a week ago, and he was saying that they tested and used a similar product during the 60's. He said it was a fabric called N.C.C-1701-D, and back then it was cutting edge technology. I think he said that it was made by a company in Nigeria.
Anyway, Lydiard was saying that he took this product up the Hershey Highway (near Pakuranga) and did some road trials on it.
He said that at 6 min/miles he experianced some localised Nekrital expanse, but that the fabric functioned quite adequatly as a natural barrier to crystalline formed sub cutaneous osmosis.
At 5 min/miles he said that he experianced some Dyconic fluctuation, but that the aggregate field of plain polarisation was within normal range for that speed.
At 4 min/miles he experienced some quite significant levels of Procyan 40 at a deep tissue level, but that this betacised if he surged to anaerobic levels, (at around 3:50 mile pace.) and as an adjunct, any developing Crystalline Prylar could easily be assimilated through the Kreb Cycle pathways. There are, at present, several government funded initiatives at a national and regional level pertaining to these cycle pathways, but they are beyond the scope of this article.
So there you have it, you pathetic little bed wetting imbiciles, stop dissing a pefectly good $600 product, just because you are too thick to understand the science. But wait...there's more....if you do buy one of these scientifically proven and thoroughly tested products then you can also take it up the Hershey Highway (near Pakuranga) and test it just like Lydiard did.

Do you want to hear one of my secrets behind improving performance? Okay I'll tell you, have you tried working harder?

Jason Dupres 4 months ago

Well I follow ESP research on several occasions, and I know for sure; same for the Red Bull Racing team, their not full of ;-) But of course all of you have a degree in Science and tested the product yourself....

I (L) sceptical people! You're going to safe the world for sure!~~~~NOT :-)
