WHAC Relays 2012 (Incorporating The Distance Medley Championship of New Zealand)

WHAC Relays is scheduled for March 10th 2012 kicking off at 4.45pm. Information pack and entry form are included in the links below or alternatively email me for a copy at: timmyc07@hotmail.com
This year’s event will include for the first time in New Zealand the Distance Medley Relay (DMR). Centres are invited to send a selected team to compete in the “Unofficial” Distance Medley Championship of New Zealand against the best local Clubs in Wellington.

Information will be going out shortly to Clubs and Centres. It would be great to see the DMR Championship becoming a feature on NZ Athletics Calendar over the next few years.

Thanks to all that attended. I would like to make this event bigger and better next season so am calling on feedback from those that attended and those that may attend in the future.
It would be nice to see the event becoming a feature on the ANZ calendar in the future. Just like Road Relays in the winter!!

Any ideas welcome.

At the risk of sounding corny, I am over the moon about you guys putting that DMR together .. Long may it last. I tried years ago to get relays like that off the ground but was looked at like I was from Outta Space.
Don't know about those of you who were in the States BUT I loved those DMR's .. probably ran better in those than I did as an individual.
Once again : Congratulations .. Awesome.

Information has been emailed out to clubs and centres. For those athletes (Exc Wellington) interested in competing in the DMR Championship contact your local centre for selection. All those athletes and coaches who would like to be emailed a copy of entry/information pack, just send me an email.
