NZ 3,000m champs - 18 Feb Dunedin

Andrew H 4 months ago

Who is planning on running this? I'm keen for a good 3,000m but it's a mighty expensive trip if not many are doing it. Who is in? PS I see it's on at 5.30pm, hopefully they can push it back to 7ish for ideal conditions...

Well spotted Biltong. That plastic surgery is scary stuff.

Strong performance from Hicks; gutsy effort from Lambo who tried to take him on in last 800 and tied up so bad he looked like he might not finish with 30 metres to go. Great effort from Callan to get his first NZ Champs medal

The NZ 3000m Track and Field Champs are on this afternoon in Dunedin. However, some mysterious changes in identity have taken place. Ning and Daniel Balchin have seemingly taken over each others identities. Very scary. If you are quick you will catch the mistake as I have phoned ODT but did not bother leaving a message since no one was home.

Not sure how long the mistake will stay online, but hey this is Dunedin. However, it is a very good informative article by Ali.

I'm also involved. 5:30pm Saturday is prime time in Dunedin... any later than that and you'd miss the complimentary pig on a spit at Guns' flat afterwards
